Wrightsville Beach Fishing is HOT! 6-29-08 Report
Hello everyone! The Wrightsville Beach Fishing and the Carolina Beach Fishing has been great!

The shark fishing behind the shrimp boats is starting to heat up rght off the beach. We caught them as fast as we could go a few days last week. The King Mackerel and Amberjack fishing is hot at the 5 to 15 mile wrecks.

Were gonna need a bigger boat!
Tried to lip gaff it. It bit the gaff and would not let go!
Estimated 75 lbs with it’s brand new tag.

This was a first for me. I have had these flying fish bounce off the boat and fly across my bow while running. After all these years this is the first time one has jumped in the boat. After a quick picture we stopped and put lines out with this guy in the spread. He trolled nicely but never got eaten.
