Hello everyone. The Carolina Beach fishing and Wrightsville Beach fishing has been great. We have had many trips with 20+ red and black drum in a half or 3/4 day. The inshore action is on fire and now is the time to get out there and take advantage of it! Give us a call for a fun filled trip!

A bit of news:

We hope to resume the mobile reports as soon as the update to the app is fixed with Apple. This should be any day.

Also we just returned from Cancun / Isla Blanca Mexico and 2 days of Tarpon fishing. Pics and videos will be up soon!

Here are is a video of this weeks action! Cape Fear Red Drum fishing

Here are this weeks pics!

My customers caught around 20 fish on this 3/4 day trip:

On this full day we did some shrimp boat shark fishing and got 3 nice one, the biggest went about 140 lbs!

Then we went inshore for the rest of the day and caught about 15 red and black drum.

This 1/2 day afternoon trip had redfish on almost every cast!  We got around 25 reds this trip.

We had 16 fish on this windy half day trip!

Even Joel caught fish!

Fishing with the Knier’s

Filed under: Fishing Reports — Reel Adventure @ 11:46 am

Had longtime and repeat customers, the Knier family onboard today for a half day. We dodged the thunder showers and had a steady pick of Spanish Mackerel near the inlet. We ended up with 15 to 18 fish with 13 keepers. Lots of fun on light tackle. Thanks again guys!

Fishing with my father

Filed under: Fishing Reports — Reel Adventure @ 3:22 pm

Today was a fun scouting day with my father. It was flat calm and we found a few schools of albies right off the beach. It was good to see him pull on a fish again. Enjoy the pics.

Carolina Beach Fishing Report

Filed under: Fishing Reports — Reel Adventure @ 1:04 pm

Today I had repeat customers Mike and Rebecca Townsend on the boat to chase some Albacore. We had a great time and got a few nice fish in the boat. Lots of fun on light tackle and it’s always great to fish with them! One neat thing about today… We saw lots of tarpon, a big spotted eagle ray, and a small loggerhead turtle. I almost felt like a zoo tour director! Thanks again guys for the great day!

Early Albies Here to Stay!!?

Filed under: Fishing Reports — Reel Adventure @ 2:29 pm

Worked the albies over pretty good again today. They are keying in on real small baits, the smaller the better. Also saw at least a 40lb King Mackerel sky on an Albie right beside our boat. Awesome! Call to get in on the fun!
