Early Albies Here to Stay!!?

Filed under: Fishing Reports — Reel Adventure @ 2:29 pm

Worked the albies over pretty good again today. They are keying in on real small baits, the smaller the better. Also saw at least a 40lb King Mackerel sky on an Albie right beside our boat. Awesome! Call to get in on the fun!

8lb Tripletail

Filed under: Fishing Reports — Reel Adventure @ 7:20 pm

Quick report.. Busted a 8 pound triple tail trying to steal our bait. My customer got him in after a pretty hard fight. Upper Cape Fear river is going good right now. Plenty of open dates. Just give us a call.

Big Sharks & The Forgotten Gaff!

Filed under: Fishing Reports — Reel Adventure @ 2:26 pm

Today’s trip was awesome. Customers were awesome, fishing was awesome, weather was awesome, it’s all one could ask for……except I forgot the gaff. In shark fishing a gaff is pretty important. It’s very important. So with no gaff, I had to bare hand them mad man style. The 30 pounder was no prob. The big 100 pounders whipped my legs so bad it looks like I went down a skateboard ramp with no skateboard! I bet I will never forget the gaff again!
